The Unbreakable Inheritance
A single backup in a single location is a single point of failure. Paranoid Qrypto's Shamir's Secret Sharing (SSS) feature allows you to eliminate this risk entirely, protecting your legacy against any single event or person.
Step 1: Define Your Master Secret
Start with the single piece of data you need to protect—a crypto seed phrase, a master password, or the key to an encrypted file.
Step 2: Split with SSS
Inside Paranoid Qrypto, choose your SSS rule. A common rule is "2-of-3," which splits your secret into 3 unique "shards," where any 2 are required for recovery.
Step 3: Distribute the Shards
Store each physical QR code shard in a separate, secure location. This creates geographic and custodial redundancy. No single person or place holds the whole key.
Step 4: Recover with Confidence
To decrypt the secret, the required number of shards must be brought together. One shard is useless on its own, guaranteeing your security.
